A project that I never saw coming, but was a lot of fun to work through. I was presented with the challenge to illustrate and design a series of graphics for Medaille College’s social media post relating to the 5 Steps to help flatten the COVID-19 curve.
Medaille’s mascot is Maximus the Maverick. Inspired by the mascot’s suit, I re-imagined Maximus in a way that was never previously seen by the college. I illustrated him more realistically than he usually appears in graphics and logos.
I don’t have an iPad / Procreate, so I used Photoshop to illustrate and color Maximus in. I really enjoyed the entire process and chance to explore the creative outlets that are available to me. I have always believed that you can make great work with whatever you have at your fingertips.
